転職活動 Job search_Day 0

 ２０２２年の１月末で仕事を辞めて現在無職です。前職は米国人の上司と反りが合わずに約１年間で退職する旨を伝えました。次の職場を決めないで仕事を辞めるのは初めてです。第二子が昨年５月に産まれましたが、あまり一緒にゆっくりできていなかったので、赤ちゃんらしい間に私も育児に関わりたいと思って少し休もうと思ったのと、本気で職探しすれば何とかなるだろうという軽い感じで決めてしまいました。３回も転職してJTC２社、外資２社経験していると、日本の一般的な感覚とズレてきているのかもしれません。

とりあえず３月から本格的に転職活動を始めるので、まずは下記のような作業から開始したいと思います。

• 和文の履歴書&職務経歴書のアップデート
• 英文Resume のアップデート
• 転職サイトのWEB履歴書の更新
• リファラル採用の可能性がないか過去の同僚(転職済)へ連絡
• 知り合いの転職エージェントへ連絡

すぐ決まれば良いですが、なかなか決まらずに長期戦になる可能性もあるので、来週は健康保険の任意継続と、失業保険の手続きに行ってきます。

I quit my job at the end of January 2022 and am currently unemployed. I told my previous employer that I was leaving after almost a year because I didn't get along with my immediate boss who is an American guy. This is the first time I have quit a job without deciding on a next one. My second child was born in May last year, and we hadn't been able to spend much time together, so I decided to take some time off to be involved in childcare while he was still a baby, and I also thought that if I really looked for a job, I would achieve it before long. By experience of three times job changes that consist of two JTCs and two foreign companies, I may be out of sync with the Japanese general feeling.

Anyway, I'm going to start my job search in earnest in March, so I'd like to start with the following tasks.

• Update my Japanese resume & CV
• Update my English resume
• Update my web resume on job sites
• Contact past colleagues (who have already moved to other jobs) to see if there is any opportunity of referral hiring
• Contacting job agencies

I'm hoping to get a job soon, but there's a possibility that it will be a long term, so next week I'm going to apply for extend previous health insurance and unemployment insurance.
